Families and adults with touring caravans, tents, motor homes and motor caravans are accepted for two nights or more at a standard rate from £8  per night but depending on the number of persons and cars (extra overnight or day visitors must register and pay for parking).  Deposits may be requested on booking or full payment for short stays.

There are a few tent sites available in the former orchard and on the riverside.  The orchard is convenient for facilities but the riverside is more remote and down a lane from the orchard.  The riverside is not suitable for groups with small children as the banks of the river are steep and the water deep.  The photographs on this website illustrate the two areas.

Touring caravans, motor homes and motor caravans.
Sites for these are available in various locations including places where metered electrical hook ups (10 amps 2000 watts capacity) may be booked in advance at extra charge.  Most sites are convenient for the facilities but any particular needs should be notified when booking and the management will make all reasonable efforts to accommodate the same.

Television and Wifi
Wifi is available at a place near the office and a code is available for those undertaking reasonable and proper use of this facility. Visitors using a TV are recommended to bring FreeSat equipment as aerials will not pick up the signal.

A dog is allowed provided that it is kept on leash and under control.  All dogs must be well behaved (in particular no barking or other conduct or behaviour causing material alarm and/or disturbance) and properly tended (in particular all excrement to be safely and properly packaged and removed).

There is approximately one mile or river available for those who bring their own canoe, small boat or inflatable with adequate safety equipment (in particular individual suitable life jackets for each user).  Electric outboard motors are allowed but otherwise mechanical propulsion is not permitted for environmental reasons.

Shopping and eating places.
Shops are available in the nearby villages of Crich, Cromford, Holloway and Ambergate with supermarkets in Belper and Matlock (all within approximately 5 miles).  Many of the local restaurants and inns are open of hot meals during the day and in the evenings but booking may be required.

Code of Conduct
There is a code of conduct to which all are required to observe. The overriding purpose of this Code of Conduct is to secure that Haytop Country Park is run and maintained by the Park Owner as a weekend and holiday caravan park (including short stay touring vans and tents in designated areas subject to this code of conduct) with proper consideration for the occupiers of each caravan and/or tent and the sustaining of the amenities of the Park including the security, safety and well being of all.
